Out of the thousands of frames and moments across the 14hrs I shot yesterday, this is one of my faves. Just a simple portrait which sums the 18th February 2023 up pretty well.

Danijela & Michael’s Wedding was 3 years and 1 little Mila in the making! A Wedding became a Celebration of family as well as a Christening.

From 9am to 11:30pm it was non stop, hot and heaps of fun. Here is just a snippet!

Celebration #1 for 2023 was with two of the nicest

Celebration #1 for 2023 was with two of the nicest people I think you’ll ever meet. Louiline & Srinath, eloped, just the two of them at Goosewing Cottage. Their outfits were custom one of ones, hand made, hand stitched by a designer in India. Incredible craftsmanship.

Sri & Loui met in Singapore. They had their first date on Sri’s birthday 5 years ago. It was then and there that he knew. They spent a few years apart completing their studies in different counties. The past few years didn’t make seeing each other easy, but let me tell you where there is a will, there is a way. Sri is a bit of a legend when it comes to creative Zoom meetings. I Look forward to hearing all the amazing stories couples have throughout 2023.

As a follow on from the single frame in my previous post, I made an animation of Jack’s aerial exploits. As impressive as it is, what makes this death defying trick all the more impressive is that not a single blade of grass left it’s green signature on Jacks rear, not to mention every stitch in his pants remained intact. 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Carlee was there too, she married Jacob a few hours earlier, that’s the real reason the champagne was popped, or that’s the story we should tell😆 🍾. In any case it was a day worth celebrating pretty hard…

Let’s talk about one of the most fun, off script

Let’s talk about one of the most fun, off script backyard weddings I’ve done! Paige & Tel’s backyard turned into a hectic mud pit in the lead up. A years worth of rain in a month didn’t help but they managed to get a marquee up, styled, looking amazing and keep the floors mostly dry and clean. Tarps and Rugs to the rescue. It was a little like walking on your parents waterbed as a kid (80’s - IYKYK) but that added to the vibe. Impromptu BeetleJuice ⚫️⚪️ recitles and dancing mid ceremony, look, you probably had to be there to fully understand how good this was… 10 images isn’t enough to do this justice!
