Use of the word Epic tends to be a little overused in this day and age but in the case of Ange & Sam, their Byron Bay wedding was as many Epic’s as you can string together in one breath. The locations, the varying weather events every 30 minutes and the most insane, lengthy and hot reception dance floor you’ll ever see. The music was loud and Ewingsdale Hall probably hasn’t rocked a party that hard in its 100 or so years of existence. Sam was pretty adamant during the wedding planning process that he’d like a huge party with a wedding thrown in, Ange was the same. Done deal. The wedding was on a Saturday, but it really got started Friday, perhaps even before that. I shot from before sunrise to a few hours before sun up. It was a crazy 20 or so hours of wedding day action but every minute was worth it.
