I would happily drive 4 hours or more to a country town I’ve never been visited to shoot an amazing wedding. Not that I needed any convincing. The first time I met with Carissa & Kyle it was a pretty awful, rainy Saturday afternoon during the winter. We met for their pre-wedding couple shoot. We shot in a multi story car park. It was about as far removed from what their wedding day would be. They embraced it and we made it work. After the shoot we had a coffee and ate donuts, telling stories like we were old friends. From then on, I couldn’t wait to make that road trip out west.

Carissa is a self confessed Foodie and Wine lover and hailing from Mudgee it was a pretty easy choice to choose a place to have a wedding. Mudgee is renowned for its Wine and Fine dining and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Carissa met Kyle, as dashing young member of the Air Force on Anzac Day several years ago. Their paths crossed and have been intertwined ever since.

The venue of choice was The Vinegrove. Without doubt one of the best all in one wedding venues I’ve been to. The food. Oh the food. Having good food and wine was very important for Carissa & Kyle. The catering was to die for.

I could go on and on but I’m pretty sure you’re keen to scroll through this fantastic day and night.

So I will happily go back to Mudgee anytime there is a great wedding waiting.
